In this Session, we explore the key traditional teachings on which Western mindfulness has most often been based, with a twist: we consider how music and movement together can support us in developing a healthy means of being present with the ups and the downs, the full range of what we encounter in the world. We’ll overview:
- The four noble truths
- The eightfold path
- The four establishments of mindfulness and
- A mindfulness of breathing practice for holding pain and possibility.
