Dancing with Demons and Devas

Deepening the Roots of Wellbeing

In this Session, “Dancing with Demons and Devas,” we explore how to move through the difficulties we face with the support of our practices, finding our own ways of inclining ourselves toward possibility.

By now, you may be experiencing some of the ways that your practice helps you experience a greater degree of choice in the face of the challenges you face, in part by helping you see the changing nature of your experience in contexts. Here, we will examine how to not merely notice and release but also how doing so can lead to a sense of creative, dynamic interplay, an invitation to moving through with energy, bounce and natural uplift. In other words, we explore how to dance with what we experience – both the scary demons and the angelic spirits known in Buddhist cosmology as “devas” – that we meet along the journey of our lives.
